On May 17 and 18, 2024, Lake Wheeler Park will host the ACC Women’s Rowing Championship event, co-sponsored by UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke University, ACC, Greater Raleigh Sports Alliance, and the City of Raleigh.
Nine ACC collegiate teams are scheduled to compete. Lake Wheeler Park will close all water access to the public from Wednesday, May 15 until Saturday, May 18.
This event will be free to all spectators on May 17 and 18. Lake access will resume for public use on Sunday, May 19.
