The City of Raleigh public utilities (Raleigh Water) plan to perform water main improvements and replacements for seventeen areas of the water distribution system within the Town of Wake Forest. Additionally, this project will involve improvements to the water gravity sewer, storm water infrastructure, and a portion of the south/north Allen roadway.
This project is partially within the following historic districts: Glen Royal Mill Village (nationally registered), Downtown Wake Forest (nationally registered), Wake Forest Historic District (nationally registered), and Wake Forest Historic District (locally registered).
