Green Road Park and Community Center

Green Road is a 29-acre park that opened in December 1985. We are located off of Green Road between Millbrook Road and New Hope Church Road.

Our community center has two multi-purpose rooms, a dance room, a fitness room, bathrooms, one air-conditioned gymnasium and one non air-conditioned gymnasium. Our outdoor facilities feature an outdoor basketball court, a new playground, and a covered picnic shelter with 6 picnic tables, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts and baseball fields. We also have a fitness room that includes treadmills, elliptical machines, recumbent bikes, free weights and universal weight machines.

Park Programs

We offer a wide variety of programming throughout the year for preschoolers to senior adults. Some of our programs include sports classes, fitness classes, art classes, educational classes, chess classes, bingo, after school, and summer camp.

We are also part of the Atlantic Citizens Advisory Council (CAC). They meet the third Thursday of every month at 7:00 pm at Brentwood Neighborhood Center.

Athletic Programming for Youth

We are part of the District 2 Athletic District. We offer a variety of youth athletic leagues throughout the year including basketball, baseball, softball and football. Our athletic district also includes Barwell Road, Lions Park, Marsh Creek and Worthdale Community Centers.

Park Rentals

Our multi-purpose rooms, picnic shelter and gymnasiums are available for many types of rentals. Some examples are basketball games, baby showers, birthday parties, school dances, family reunions, work gatherings, and the list keeps going!
