Jaycee Park and Community Center

Jaycee Community Center and Park was built in 1961 and is located in Central Raleigh inside the beltline.

It offers a staffed community center as well as several outdoor amenities. The Community Center has a gymnasium, three meeting rooms, weight room ($15 per month), and locker rooms. Programs are offered for all age groups and include preschool sports and art classes, athletic leagues, senior programs, health and fitness classes, and arts-based programming. Outside amenities at Jaycee Community Center include a picnic shelter, 2 lighted tennis courts, 6 lighted sand volleyball courts, 3 lighted ball fields, a tot lot playground, and numerous nature trails around the property.View Jaycee Playground

Jaycee completed renovations in Summer 2012. Improvements included replacement of the exterior window/metal wall assemblies, upgrade of the locker rooms to ADA compliance, renovation of the building's entrance and reception desk, replacement of the gym flooring with sports court, conditioning of the gym, kitchen remodel, a new weight room, and a new extra-large meeting room.
