Lions Park and Community Center, located off of Capital Boulevard on Dennis Avenue, is one of the largest metro parks in the City of Raleigh.

Throughout the school year the center also offers afterschool programming for kids ages 5-18. Our free afterschool programming includes the Teen Outreach Program (TOPS) and Community After School Program (CAPS).

Also, please note that every third Monday of the month Lions Park host the East Citizens Advisory Council (CAC) meetings at 7:00pm in the back meeting room area.

Athletic Programming for Youth

We are part of the District 2 Athletic District. We offer a variety of youth athletic leagues throughout the year including basketball, baseball, softball and football. Our athletic district also incldues Barwell Road, Green Road, Marsh Creek, and Worthdale Community Centers.
