There are endless opportunities to learn something new, refine your skills, or just meet new friends. Programs are offered for children as young as 6 months old and extend through senior adults. We invite you to Discover YOUR Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department!
With so many options, here are a few simple tips to help you get started:
Spend Time Browsing
The Leisure Ledger
is a comprehensive catalog of programs, classes, and events published three times per year: Fall, Winter/Spring, and Summer. In addition to online availability, hard copies are available at any Parks and Recreation facility or request one to be mailed to your home by calling (919) 831-6640. Once you register for a program or class, one will be automatically mailed to your home.
You can also browse classes, programs, and events through Reclink - an online registration system. Under the "Activities" tab, you may search by category, barcode, keyword, location, and date. Please note that before you can complete a registration online, you must submit an account request form.
Visit a Community Center
Raleigh Parks and Recreation staff are dedicated to helping citizens make the most of the programs and services offered. Feel free to drop by your closest community center and pick up information or talk with someone about what opportunities are available.
