Millbrook Exchange Park – Playground Renovation

The existing playground next to the Millbrook Exchange Community Center will be closed for renovation from January 28 - May 30, 2013.

The design for the new playground features the following play elements and site amenities:

• Age 2-5 Play Area to accommodate approximately 20 children
  • Composite play equipment with platforms and roofs including slides, climbers and acoustic instruments
  • Swing set including one tot seat and one chair seat with harness
  • Two spring riders - one horse and one mini bike

• Age 5-12 Play Area to accommodate approximately 90 children
  • Composite play equipment with platforms and roofs. The multi-level play structure will provide elements including slides, climbers, overhead climbers, bridges, play panels and exercise bars
  • Swing set with 2 belt seats

• Other Play Elements
  • Poured-in-place rubber safety surfacing throughout play areas (except for sand digger area)
  • Two sand diggers including one wheelchair accessible digger
  • Painted games on sidewalk including two hopscotch games and one four-square

• Site Amenities
  • Picnic tables including one wheelchair accessible table
  • Benches
  • Trash receptacles
  • Shade trees and centrally located natural area
  • Fenced from parking area
