Lake Wheeler Boat Ramps

Attention Boaters Lake Wheeler water levels are normal. For more information or the most up to date status please call Lake Wheeler Staff at 919-662-5704.

Multi-purpose Fields Unavailable

The following multi-purpose fields are unavailable due to renovations:

The multi-purpose field at Williams Park is closed through September 30.

The multi-purpose field #2 at Kiwanis Park is closed through March 1, 2016.

Pullen Park Holiday Express Hours Update

In preparation for Holiday Express, Pullen Park Amusements will be closed to patrons on the following dates:

December 2nd will close at 6pm

December 3rd - 6th - Closed All Day

December 10th - 13th - Closed All Day

Guests who have purchased tickets to Holiday Express may enter the park starting at 4pm. Will Call for tickets is available Nov. 27 - Dec. 2 10am-6pm and Dec. 7 - Dec. 9 10am-6pm or anytime after 4pm on the night of your event.

Note: Holiday Express tickets are sold out for this year's event. Tickets go on sale for 2016 at the end of July.

Edna Metz Park Maintenance Repair Project

Contractors will repair a portion of a broken pipe between Park Dr. and W. Johnson St. The walking trail and foot bridge will be closed during maintenance. Laurel Hills Playground Closed for Renovation Beginning September 14, 2015

On May 5, 2015 Raleigh City Council approved the schematic design for the Sassafras All Children’s Playground at Laurel Hills Park and authorized City staff to proceed with construction documents and construction. The project is anticipated to be completed in early Summer 2016. For information and to stay up to date on the Sassafras All Children’s Playground at Laurel Hills Park visit the project page. We invite you to keep playing at one of our other playground locations.
