Zoning Enforcement
Zoning Enforcement has the responsibility to enforce local zoning regulations propagated by City Council such as:
- Automobile Dealer Permits
- Fence Permits
- Food Truck Vending
- Home Occupation Use
- Landscape Agreement

- Outdoor Dining
- Political sign regulations
- Pushcart Vending

- Residential Front Yard Parking
- Signs, landscaping and other land uses
- Special Care Facilities
- Supportive Housing Residence Registration
- Temporary Event Permits
- Temporary Event Sign Permits
In addition to these responsibilities, the Zoning Enforcement Administrator, is the City's representative for the Raleigh Board of Adjustment, which is responsible for hearing appeals for variances, special use permits (City Council) and zoning code interpretations.
