Capital Area Transit Bus Route 40E - Wake Tech
Capital Area Transit (CAT) Route 40E - Wake Tech is an express route. The only stops are on Blount Street beside Moore Square Transit Station, Lighthouse Convention Center on Tryon Road near Wilmington Street and Wake Technical Community College. Passengers for Route 40E board and alight on Blount Street beside the Moore Square Transit Station.

Route Description
Departing Moore Square the bus travels south on Blount Street which turns into Hammond Road, turns right on Tryon Road and stops at Lighthouse Convention center. It then truns left onto 401 and continues on to Wake Technical Community College. Returning to downtown it travels 401, turns right onto Tryon Road, stops at Lighthouse Convention Center, turns left onto Hammond Road which turns into Person Street, turns left on Hargett Street and left onto Blount Street. The route ends on Blount Street beside Moore Square Station.
