Emergency Telephone System Fund

Department Overview

The Emergency Telephone System Fund encompasses the annual disbursement made to the city by the State 911

Board in support of the emergency telephone system (911). The Emergency Communications Center estimates

eligible expenses based on the guidelines distributed by the Board. The personnel and operating expenditures

associated with this fund are managed as part of the annual operating budget for the larger Emergency

Communications Department.
