The combining statements referred to earlier in connection with nonmajor governmental funds and internal service

funds are presented immediately following the required supplementary information on pensions. Combining and

individual fund statements and schedules can be found on pages 74 - 126 of this report.

GOVERNMENT-WIDE FINANCIAL ANALYSIS

As noted previously, net position may serve over time as a useful indicator of a government’s financial condition.

The City’s assets and deferred outflows of resources exceeded liabilities and deferred inflows of resources by

$2,225.4 million at the close of the most recent fiscal year, compared to $2,067.9 million at the end of the previous

fiscal year.
