Fifty-two percent (52%) of households indicated they

use the City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural

Resources Department for programs and services. Other

organizations used include: Wake County Parks (46%),

State and Federal parks (40%), Wake County Public Schools

(31%), and churches/places of worship (31%).

a need for greenway trails. Other facilities with similar

need include: restrooms (61%); nature park and

preserves (55%); walking/ running track (54%); smaller

neighborhood parks (52%).
