Senior Customer Service Representative

Position Duties

Services patrons' recreation accounts, including originating and monitoring in-house payment plans, processing payments through various payment methods. Supports, trains, and provides guidance to the Recreation Business Office staff under the direction of the Business Office Manager. Provides customer service by telephone, email, and in person. Supervises and participates in collection of payments, AR billing and monthly collection process which includes contacting clients, researching and resolving account issues. Applies financial assistance to accounts, compiles data, prepares and reviews monthly reports. Manages staff work schedules and arranges office meetings. Is responsible for meeting notes, account adjustments, daily balancing, and merging of accounts. Assists with daily bank deposits, working with outside agencies, creating and updating procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

2 years of relevant experience, preferably including cash handling. HS diploma (or GED); some college preferred. Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Advanced skills with CLASS Software and the accounts receivable process preferred. Excellent customer service, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented in a high functioning office. Must work well with all levels of management, staff, and individuals outside the organization. A Valid NC Class "C" Driver's License.
