Sustainable Raleigh Map

The Sustainable Raleigh Map highlights numerous initiatives related to energy efficiency, renewable energy, environmental conservation, and sustainability throughout the city. Categories include the following:

  • electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS)
  • solar water heaters
  • photovoltaic projects
  • rainwater harvesting
  • vegetative green roofs
  • LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified buildings
  • LED (Light Emitting Diodes) lights
  • NC 10% Campaign
  • geothermal
  • methane conversion

The Sustainable Raleigh Map not only highlights projects completed by the City, but also includes private businesses and local universities. Each icon on the map represents a different type of project with some brief supplementary information.

The Sustainable Raleigh map is updated periodically with the growth of these projects.

So what have you or your organization done?

To profile your project on the map, email the City at Sustainable.Raleigh@raleighnc.govEmail Address.

For consistency, please include the following:

  • project name
  • type
  • completion date
  • location
  • size
  • project contractor or installer
  • pictures
  • any other important information

The City will make every effort to verify all submissions, and all projects may not be mapped.
