• Tuesday to Saturday - 9am to 4pm
• Sunday- 1-4pm

St. Mark's Chapel

Located in the heart of downtown Raleigh, Mordecai's St. Mark's Chapel provides a warm, intimate setting for any small wedding or gathering.

Fees:

• Resident Fee $100 per hour (2 hour minimum)
• Non Resient Fee $150 per hour (2 hour minimum)
• $75 damage deposit
• $15 application fee (non refundable)

Mordecai Historic Park Grounds

Additionally, the grounds at Mordecai make a unique and memorable backdrop for your special day. Tents, dancing, amplified music, and alcohol are allowed on the grounds.

Fees:

• Resident Fee $100 per hour (2 hour minimum)
• Non-Resident Fee $150 per hour (2 hour minimum)
• $75 damage deposit (refundable)
• $50 alcohol permit fee (non refundable)
• $15 application fee (non refundable)

June| Camp Raleigh on the Go: This camp will take youth ages 9-12 around Raleigh for a week full of fun activities focused on the history and culture of the Raleigh area. Each day campers will start at the Borden Building at Fred Fletcher Park then step aboard the Raleigh Trolley and head off to a new location. Field trip locations will include Mordecai Historic Park, the City of Raleigh Museum, the North Carolina Museum of Natural Science, Pullen Park, and more! Participants can sign up for one of three weeks: June 3rd-7th, June 10th-14th, or June 17th-21st. August 16th 10am-3pm| Free Friday: Take a free tour of the Mordecai House and other historic outbuildings. Free tours are only offered twice a year so don't miss out. Tours will begin on the hour and 1/2 hour. First come first serve. The first tour will begin at 10am, the last tour will begin at 3pm. Call 919-857-4364 for more information.

Volunteers are always needed at Mordecai Historic Park and the program is open to everyone. No matter what your talents or interest, you can support Mordecai through volunteerism. Complete a membership form and return it with your payment to the park office to join.

Home to five generations of the same family the Mordecai House features many of the Mordecai Family's original furnishings, portraits, books, and other artifacts.

The Andrew Johnson Birthplace features an exhibit on the 17th Presdient with many original artifacts from the Mordecai Collection as well as on loan from the Andrew Johnson National Historic Site.

The other buildings on site at Mordecai Historic Park are furnished with period appropriate artifacts.
