Minimum Requirements
Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required.

Position Duties
Specialized Recreation is currently recruiting camp staff for Aquatic Adventure Camp and Camp Exploration. These camps are for individuals with disabilities and are offered at the same location on alternating weeks and will be staffed with the same team.
Responsibilities: Counselors are responsible for the daily needs of the campers in their group (medication, feeding, toileting, behavior management, and First Aid) while leading activities that are chronologically and developmentally age appropriate. Counselors supervise campers, participate in scheduled activities, handle discipline issues, and maintain contact with parents. Other duties will include addressing medical and behavioral concerns and completing camper paperwork.
