Lake Johnson - Lake Wheeler Waterfront Operations

Lake Wheeler - Water Levels Low, Boat Ramps and Motorize Boat Docks Closed

Attention Boaters: Lake Wheeler water levels are extremely low. All ramps/motorized boat docks are closed for trailer boat launches. Car top and small vessels can launch from beach area. Lake levels have dropped more than 3 ft. We anticipate low water levels until we receive significant rain fall . Lake Johnson - Launches Suspended, Low Lake Levels

Lake Johnson beach boat rentals (kayaks, canoes, stand up paddle boards and sailboats) are currently suspended due to low lake levels. Dock boats rentals (pedal boats and fishing boats) and personal launches are available at this time. Updated - 9/21/17

Pullen Park Pedal Boats

The Pullen Park Pedal Boats will operate on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday from August 11 - November 13.
