Marsh Creek Community Center Rental Information

Marsh Creek Community Center is the newest recreation center in the City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department. It is located north of New Hope Road between Marsh Creek and Buffaloe Road. We offer many rental spaces ideal for family gatherings, birthday parties, business meetings and classes. Our facility can easily accomodate most any size group.

Rental Policies

  • All rentals are for a 2 hour minimum.
  • There is a $15 application fee (except for the picnic shelter). Completed rental contract and all rental fees must be submitted in order to reserve room/space.
  • Please note that there is a $75 damage deposit required for all room/space rentals (except the picnic shelter). This may be refunded if the renter adheres to the contract and stays within the rented time.
  • After hour reservations must be made 3 weeks in advance. There is an additional fee of $20 per hour for any rentals (except for the picnic shelter) that occur outside of operating hours.
  • Other policies, forms and fees may be required for certain rentals. Please contact the center at (919) 996-4920 for more information.

Marsh Creek Warming Kitchen

Warming Kitchen

  • Adjacent to the Multipurpose Room and Multipurpose Room B with an entrance to the room
  • Equipped with an ice machine, flat top range/stove, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and microwave
  • Has custom cabinets with counter space
  • May be used for warming and storing food, but cannot be used to cook food items

Marsh Creek Gymnasium

Gymnasium

  • Equipped with heating and air conditioning
  • The only gym in the department with natural hardwood flooring
  • 6 goals (2 main and 4 side)
  • Lines for full basketball court, 2 smaller basketball courts and one main volleyball court
  • Water fountain located in gym
  • Ideal for athletic games, practices, classes and rentals
  • No food or drink allowed in gym besides water

  • Covered area below the center
  • Ideal for family gatherings, team parties and birthday parties

Picnic Shelter

  • Covered picnic shelter with 8 tables
  • Restroom facilities and charcoal grills are on site
  • Located next to the skate park and inline hockey rink
