Seasonal Loose Leaf Collection Update

Loose Leaf Collection has Concluded for the 2011-2012 Season.

Last Modified: February 15, 2012

Seasonal loose leaf collection has concluded for Fall - Winter 2011-2012.

Loose leaf collection will resume in late 2012 after the leaves begin to fall. Until then, residents may see our new automated leaf collection trucks around town as staff continues to receive training in the operation of these complex units.

If you have questions or concerns about the City of Raleigh's Loose Leaf Curbside Collection Program, please call (919) 996-6446.

Didn't Get Your Leaves to the Curb in Time?

Citizens who receive loose leaf curbside service can have their leaves picked up year-round on their scheduled yard waste collection day. Leaves must be placed in clear plastic bags, paper bags, or permanent containers. Please visit the Yard Waste Preparation page for more information on preparing yard waste for collection.

Not Sure About Your Yard Waste Day?

If you are unsure of your scheduled yard waste collection day, you can find it by using the Find My Service button on the City Services or Neighbors pages. Just enter your address in the Find My Service area on the right side of the page and select submit to determine your recycling, solid waste, and yard waste collection day, as well as your loose leaf collection area and other useful information.
