Laws Relating to Evidentiary Hearings

Matters that require going through the evidentiary hearing process can be frustrating and confusing to Raleigh residents. In an effort to enhance understanding of this State-required process and the City Council’s role in it, the City has produced the following. We hope that they will prove to be useful.

As part of its legislative role, the Raleigh City Council and its appointed boards and commissions hold many public hearings each year.
