City Offices To Close July 4 for Independence Day Holiday; Trash Collection Schedule Not Affected

[Alert]News posted Jun. 20, 2016 - 4:00 pm

The City of Raleigh’s administrative offices will be closed Monday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. Emergency police, fire and rescue services may be reached by calling 9-1-1.

Because no collections are done on Mondays, there is no change to the collection of garbage, recycling and yard waste. The City’s Yard Waste Center will be closed on July 4, but will operate on a regular schedule the remainder of the week.

GoRaleigh will operate bus service on a Sunday schedule on Independence Day. GoTriangle buses and express routes run by GoRaleigh are not running on July 4. Both GoRaleigh and GoTriangle will resume regular service on July 5.
