Kickoff Meeting March 27 for Avent Ferry Road Corridor Study

The City of Raleigh will host a public kickoff meeting for the Avent Ferry Road Corridor Study on Monday, March 27 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the McKimmon Conference and Training Center, 1101 Gorman St.

Residents are invited to attend the meeting to meet the consultant team for the study, provide input on what the makes the corridor great and discuss the improvements they would like to see for the area. Participants at the kickoff meeting will help set a vision for what the corridor can be in the near and long-term future.

The City and its consultants will confirm and build on the input received at the visioning workshop in 2016.

ColeJenest and Stone has been selected as the primary consultant for the Avent Ferry Road Corridor Study. The firm, along with WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff and Rose and Associates, will help lead the corridor study, beginning with the kickoff meeting.
