Crabtree Wastewater Lift Station Repair Scheduled for Feb. 13-27

The City of Raleigh Public Utilities Department will be conducting repairs at the Crabtree Creek Lift Station located at 2521 Carl Sandburg Court from Feb. 13-27, 2017. The preparatory work that began this past November has advanced to field repairs.

This work includes removing the existing covers, odor piping, and other components to allow contractors access to repair equipment.

Depending on weather conditions, work is expected to be completed within two weeks. Additional repairs or unforeseen circumstances could increase the repair time. Residents should be aware that during the repair, odors in the vicinity may increase. Work will be performed in a timely manner to help minimize any odors that maybe experienced.
