  • DC based Afro-Pop band ELIKEH will perform on the Festival's Main Stage on Friday; night, Sept 19th at 9pm;
  • Festival's first ethnic/ traditional dance competition;
  • Cooking demos from Sam and Betty Saleh at Neomonde and Kim Hunter from Kimbap;
  • IF will sponsor a first outdoor venue on Cabarrus St from 12-6 on Sunday, Sept 21;
  • Food trucks, dancers, and kids activities.

Celebrate 29 years of food, dance, music, art, and culture at the International Festival of Raleigh. This year, the International Festival will be held on September 19th-21st at the Raleigh Convention Center. Discover the world in Raleigh together with almost 60 international groups who call the Triangle home.


The theme for the 2014 festival is Natural Wonders. Representatives from many diverse cultures will exhibit their the beauties of nature in their countries of origin in addition to offering the very best in international dance, music, kids activities, shopping and of course, food! Volunteer at the 29th International Festival of Raleigh:

Experience the multicultural fun of 60 international groups including dance, music, kid’s activities, shopping and food while serving a great cause as a volunteer for the 29th International Festival of Raleigh, September 19-21, 2014 at the Raleigh Convention Center.
