Summer camp counselor gives camper a high five

The City of Raleigh will be hosting a summer job information session for college and high school students Saturday, April 22.

The Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department employs over 500 college and high school student each summer and still needs around 100 staff for the upcoming summer. The most common jobs filled are lifeguard, camp counselor, recreation instructors, recreation leaders, and cashiers.

The information sessions will have small group presentations from Human Resources and Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources to share about specific jobs and the application processes.

Opportunities to apply online will be made available during the information session. Sessions will be held at Tarboro Road Community Center (15 N. Tarboro Street). Drop in between 11:00 am – 1:00 pm to learn more!
