Raleigh Recycling Drop-Off Site Closed at 8101 Glenwood Avenue

The City of Raleigh’s recycling drop-off site at 8101 Glenwood Avenue is closed effective Friday, Jan. 13.

Eatman’s Carpet and Interiors hosted this site for more than five years. The company recently relocated as the property is being redeveloped. Residents and small businesses are encouraged to use the remaining drop-off sites to recycle cardboard, plastic bottles, aluminum cans, and other materials.

Other site locations include:

  • City of Raleigh Yard Waste Center - 900 N. New Hope Rd;
  • Habitat Wake ReStore - 2420 N. Raleigh Blvd; and,
  • Jaycee Park - 2405 Wade Ave.

The City has partnered with churches, shopping centers, and nonprofit organizations to host drop-off sites of varying sizes. For more information on hosting a drop-off center, please call Bianca Howard at 919-996-6872.
