The plan outlines a vision for major infrastructure investments that could transform Raleigh’s Southern Gateway Corridor into a more vibrant, revitalized area. The gateway covers South Saunders Street and South Wilmington Street.

The study report and recommendations were the outcome of a two-year collaborative planning effort between City staff, the consultant team, citizens, stakeholders, community leaders, residents, and businesses.
