Beginning on Monday, July 10, the City of Raleigh will close the 2300 block of Everett Avenue between Tower Street and Chamberlain Street for a water line installation. The work is expected to be completed on August 18. The water line installation project is one of the city’s Capital Improvement Projects.

As a result of the construction, this area of Everett Avenue will be accessible to local residents only and on street parking will be prohibited. Other motorists should avoid this area if possible or follow the posted detour signage.

Customers in this area should not experience any interruption of service. If service interruptions are necessary, residents will be notified in advance.
