Traffic Alert: Water and Sewer Line Installation Project to Close Portion of Frank Drive

Beginning Friday, August 4, the City of Raleigh will close the 400 block of Frank Street between Watauga Street and Wake Forest Road for a water and sewer line installation project. The work is expected to be completed on August 28. The project is one of the city’s Capital Improvement Projects.

As a result of the construction, this area of Frank Drive will be accessible to local residents only and on street parking will be prohibited. Other motorists should avoid this area if possible or follow the posted detour signage.

Customers in this area should not experience any interruption of service. If service interruptions are necessary, residents will be notified in advance.
