Traffic Alert: Sewer Line Project to Reduce Lanes of Wake Forest Road at Intersection of Capital Boulevard

At 9 a.m. on Monday, May 15, 2017, the City of Raleigh will intermittently reduce traffic lanes in the 1800 block of Wake Forest Road, near the intersection with Capital Boulevard for a sewer line replacement project. The work is estimated to be complete by May 29, 2017, with Wake Forest Road maintaining 2-way traffic and access to businesses throughout the period. The sewer line replacement project is one of the City’s Capital Improvement Projects.

Motorists approaching this work area should expect traffic delays and are advised to avoid this area if possible.

Customers in this area should not experience any interruption of service.
