The WaterSense Toilet Rebate Program is back for 2011.
Raleigh's City Council has set aside $500,000 for the fiscal year 2011.
The program will run from July 1st, 2011 to June 1st, 2012.

If your toilet is more than a few years old you certainly could be!
Current toilets use approximately 1.6 gallons of water per flush and old toilets can use up to 7 gallons of water per flush! This means your toilet could account for up to 30 percent of your indoor domestic water consumption.
But did you know you could be flushing your toilet with just a fraction of that water? WaterSense labeled toilets can do the job and only use 1.28 gallons of water per flush, on average. Save even more money by installing a WaterSense dual-flush toilets, which can use as little as 0.8 gallons of water per flush!

Before you purchase and install your WaterSense labeled toilet, insure that you have read the program guidelines as they change often.
Important: You must also take the measurements of your old toilet's tank before you remove the old toilet!
