Seeking Public Comment Feb. 15

The North Carolina Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization is seeking public comments on the 2012-2013 Unified Planning Work Program and the self-certification checklist and responses associated with certification of the 3-C planning process.

The Unified Planning Work Program is a narrative description of the annual technical work program for a continuing, cooperative and comprehensive transportation planning process in the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization planning area. Also released for public review and comment is the self-certification. The comment period for these items began Jan. 20, and ends February 20. Copies are available at the Metropolitan Planning Organization offices located at 127 West Hargett Street, Suite 800. Copies also are available on the organization’s website.

The Transportation Advisory Committee of the Metropolitan Planning Organization will conduct a public hearing on the items on February 15, 4:00 p.m. at the Capital Area Transit Operations Facility. The Transportation Advisory Committee may take action on that date.
