Registration for 2014-2015 School Based Programs begins on Friday, March 3, 2014.

Here are some common questions we get about the School Based Programs.

When do I begin registering for the programs?

Registration forms will be accepted beginning on March 3rd, 2014. Registration forms will be processed on a first come, first serve basis. Please include a full payment and a $25 non refundable registration fee per participant and completed registration forms. Forms can be dropped off at any community centers or mailed in. Please mail forms to:

Are there any changes I need be aware of when registering for the 2014-2015 School year?

Yes!

The fees for the Before School and Track Out programs have changed:

  • Before School X-Press- $740/city resident; $884/non-city resident
  • Track Out X-Press (All 4 breaks)- $1620/city resident; $1764/non-city resident
  • Track Out X-Press (Weekly)- $160/city resident; $172/non-city resident

Youth Programs is excited to announce the addition of Specialty Camps for Track Out program participants. Information can be found on page 9 of the 2014-2015 brochure.

How do I register for programs?

  1. Complete the registration forms in the School Programs Brochure completely and sign.
  2. Submit the completed registration form one of two ways:
  • Take the completed registration form and deposit to the Recreation Business Office located at Pullen Art Center or to a community center of your choice.
  • Mail completed registration form and deposit to:

Registration must be received 7 days in advance before the participant can begin the program(s).

Registrations for the 2014-2015 school year will not be accepted before March 3, 2014. All mailed registrations should be postmarked March 3 or later.

What am I required to pay when I register?

Select whether you wish to pay in full for programs or wish to select the payment plan option for the ability to make payments throughout the school year.

If you select the payment plan option, a $25 registration fee per child will be due at the time of registration. If the total registration amount is less than $400, full payment will be required at time of registration.

What do I need to do if I have to withdraw from any program?

If you must withdraw from a program, the request for withdrawal must be received in writing to the Recreation Business Office at least 14 days prior to the start date of the withdrawal week to be considered for transfer of fees, credit, or refund.

If I am currently participating, do I need to fill out new registration forms? Am I guaranteed a space next year if I am currently participating?

Yes, you will need to fill out new registration forms for the upcoming school year if you currently participate in School Programs.

No, you are not guaranteed a space in any programs for the upcoming school year if you are currently participating in School Programs this school year.

Do I need to fill out a separate registration form for each child?

Yes, you will need to fill out a separate registration form per child if registering multiple children.
