Current Activity

The Walnut Creek Wetland Park Master Plan process will evaluate the needs of the community to look specifically at community access to the park, potential new amenities or infrastructure needs, and opportunities to expand existing educational programming. The master plan will be a nine-month process, concluding with City Council adoption. Funding for the development of the plan and first phase of improvements comes from the 2007 Parks Bond.

Summary

City staff will work with the public to develop a park master plan for Walnut Creek Wetland Park. Following the master plan process, the implementation stage of the project will include a boardwalk and interpretive opportunities for sustainable access into the park.
