COR Museum Celebrates Educators September 18

News posted Aug. 24, 2017 - 6:00 am

The City of Raleigh (COR) Museum is celebrating teachers on Sept. 18 at 6 p.m. We will be open late for educators to explore the museum and our newest exhibit “You Really Stuck It to Me Today: The Political Cartoons of Dwane Powell” as well as talk with museum staff about how the museum can support Raleigh classrooms. The CORMuseum’s Educational Programs focus on Raleigh’s history, present, and future through interactive activities including a new offering, entitled Capital Games, which will be debuted on Sept. 18. The Friends of the CORMuseum will also provide refreshments as thanks to our educators! The event is free and registration is appreciated. Register through Eventbrite.
