Wooten Meadow Gardening Program

Have you had a chance to visit Wooten Meadow Park yet?

This park opened to the public in May of 2022 thanks to a partnership between Raleigh Stormwater and Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources. Wooten Meadows is alongside Hare Snipe Creek and includes a forest, a wetland, and sunny fields. Stop by Wooten Meadows for one of our gardening volunteer days for a chance to meet the gardeners who work on-site and enjoy the picturesque views.

We host gardening days on the first Friday of every month where you may be removing invasives, planting perennials and so much more! We look forward to seeing you!

Dates: First Friday of Every Month
Time: 9 a.m. - noon
Ages: 18 and older
