Redevelopment Plans


Redevelopment plans exist under state statute for the purpose of acquisition and redevelopment of blighted or underdeveloped areas.  Raleigh's redevelopment plans are centered on the downtown area, and are listed below.

Because of the size of these files, only selected plans are available for download.  All redevelopment plans are available on CD from the Planning Department in .pdf format.  The cost is $5 for all redevelopment plans approved to date.  A CD copy may be requested by e-mail, or at the Planning Department office (One Exchange Plaza, Suite 304), or by calling (919) 516-2626.
