Water Education

The Department of Public Utilities provides educational activities for schools, civic groups and for the general public. For information about WaterFest or to arrange a field activity, call 919-250-7826 or e-mail Marti Gibson.

WaterFest is held annually during the first full week of May, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Festival times are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. all three days. Play water games, watch piging demonstrations, take water & hay rides, participate in lab experiments and much, much more. It's educational and fun for your whole family!
