Utility Billing Services
The City of Raleigh provides utility billing services to approximately 180,000 customers in the Raleigh area.
Most accounts are billed every other month and are due within 25 days of the billing date. In order to prevent disruption of service, payments should be made by the due date printed on the bill. In addition to the above rates, stormwater fees and solid waste charges may also apply to City of Raleigh customers. Questions concerning permit fees for installation of water lines for new construction should be directed to the Inspections Department at 919-516-2495.
