Burning Coal is a nonprofit theatre producing works from neglected classic, modern classic and original plays. Burning Coal has produced a wide variety of material, including Ronald Hutchinson’s RAT IN THE SKULL, David Edgar’s PENTECOST, the world premiere of Kipp Erante Cheng’s EINSTEIN’S DREAMS and Randolph Curtis Rand’s THE HISTORY OF KING HENRIE THE FOURTH.

Hot Summer Nights at the Kennedy is a professional theatre company whose mission is to serve the citizens of Raleigh, Wake County, and Eastern Carolina by “keeping the lights on” and producing professional theatrical performances during the months of June, July, and August. The six show series runs for 60 nights and produces both musicals and plays that are varied in type, attitude and scope.
