Each Team Building Program is custom designed to meet the client’s needs.

Group Outing/Initiative Sessions

A group outing or initiative session is a great way to bond a team without formal facilitated teambuilding. We can customize any program to your group’s specific needs. Examples of programs we have used in the past are listed below.

Departmental Challenge

Transportation provided from the office
Morning meeting session to discuss the object of the days activities
Six event, four team departmental challenge with points assigned for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place

  • Challenge #1: Canoe Relay
  • Challenge #2: Inflatable Bungee Run
  • Challenge #3: Inflatable Obstacle Course
  • Challenge #4: Inflatable Laser Tag
  • Challenge #5: Inflatable Bouncy Boxing
  • Challenge #6: Assorted Relay Races


Each team comprised of individuals that must work well together in the work environment.
Each team receives recognition at the end of day wrap-up session
Best suited for large groups
Breakfast and Lunch provided

Departmental Canoe or Kayak Trip

  • Transportation provided from the office
  • Morning meeting session to discuss the object of the days activities
  • Icebreaker games and initiatives
  • Introduction to canoeing or kayaking and descriptions of the trip
  • Travel down the Swift Creek or Neuse River (2 – 3 hour trip)
  • Adventure personnel and Naturalist on trip to provide expertise
  • Breakfast and Lunch provided


Field Day

Just like the ones you used to participate in school!  Friendly competition and teamwork is provided through traditional (and non traditional) field games!  Breakfast or lunch provided.

Scavenger Hunt

CLS can customize a scavenger hunt for your group where we incorporate the use of canoes and kayaks.  This is a fun way to work as a team to complete various tasks together!  Breakfast or lunch provided.
