Mordecai Historic Park


Visit  Mordecai Historic Park where you can tour the Mordecai Mansion-- an antebellum plantation home with many of its original furnishings. While at Mordecai you can also tour other historic structures which have been moved to Mordecai Park for preservation, including the Birthplace of Andrew Johnson. To find out more about the Mordecai Mansion and Mordecai Historic Park follow the blue links below.

 Park Tour Hours: Tuesday- Saturday: 9am- 4pm, Sunday: 1pm- 4pm; One- hour tours begin every hour, last tour begins at 3pm. Tour times are subject to change when School Groups are on site (see the calendar below). Groups by reservation.

Admission for Park Tours: $5 for adults, $3 for seniors, $3 for youth (7-17), children (6 and under) are free.

Ride the Raleigh Trolley: Mordecai Historic Park is also home to the Historic Raleigh Trolley Tours which make one our narrated tour around downtown Raleigh.

Hours for Trolley Tours: Every Saturday, March through December from 11am-2pm.

Admission for Trolley Tours: $8 for adults, $4 for youth (7-17), children (6 and under) are free.
