The City of Raleigh has recently conducted a comprehensive Aquatic Study. The study assessed both the quantity and quality of aquatic leisure services and opportunities provided by the Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department and includes a local inventory and analysis of existing public and private pools; a market and demographic analysis; a needs assessment; analysis of spatial distribution of aquatic facilities; costs; and recommended implementation and prioritization of the results.
