Seasonal Leaf Collection

The Loose Leaf Curbside Collection Program for the 2009-10 leaf season is set to begin Thursday, November 12, 2009. Collections will be made in each area of the city once by Christmas and a second time after the New Year January 4, 2010.

Weekly advertisements in the local newspapers (View newest ad here) and announcements on Cable Channel 22 notify citizens when their area will be served. Citizens also may call the Leaf Line at 996-3720. For a daily update visit this webpage.

As a reminder, all citizens of Raleigh that receive the loose leaf curbside service can also have their leaves removed BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER the Loose Leaf Program if the leaves are put/placed in CLEAR PLASTIC BAGS, PAPER BAGS AND/OR PERMANENT CONTAINERS. This service is available year-round on their schedule yard waste collection day.
