Rent a city-owned Apartment
Looking for affordable rental apartments?
Are you looking to rent an apartment? Are you having trouble finding a place to rent that is not only affordable but is also located inside the city limits of Raleigh? If you make less than 50% of the Area Median Income (i.e. $26,200 for a household of one or $37,450 for a household of four) and are interested in renting an apartment or a house in Raleigh, you may be eligible for the City of Raleigh Affordable Housing Program. Many of the rental units in this program have been remodeled as part of the City’s commitment to revitalization of neighborhoods and communities. Options of housing units include 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments. Most of the rents are between $400 and $600 a month. Conditions and other restrictions apply. For more information, contact the City of Raleigh's property manager, Barker Realty, Inc. at (919) 859-0044 for details.
