Outbound from Downtown
Route 16 departs from the Red Zone at Moore Square Station, turns left on Hargett St, right on Wilmington St, left on Edenton St, which becomes Hillsborough St, right on St. Mary's St, left on Peace St, right on Bellwood Dr, left on Cameron St, right on Oberlin Rd, left on Glenwood Ave, left on Blue Ridge Rd, and right into Crabtree Valley Mall, departing the mall turns right on Blue Ridge Rd, left on Duraleigh which becomes Blue Ridge Rd (again), left into Rex Hospital which is the end of the line.
Inbound to Downtown
From Rex Hospital turn right on Lake Boone Tr, right on Blue Ridge Rd which becomes Duraleigh Rd, turn right on Blue Ridge Rd, turn left into Crabtree Valley Mall, departing the mall turn left on Blue Ridge Rd, right on Glenwood Ave, right on Oberlin Rd, left on Cameron St, right on Bellwood Dr, left on Peace St, right on St. Mary's St, left on Morgan St, right on Salisbury St, left on Martin St and left into Moore Square Station which is the end of the line.
