CAT Service Changes - Effective 01/03/10 Route 2 (Falls of Neuse): Evening and Sunday service will be renamed Route 37 North Hills.
Route 4 (Rex Hospital): Evening and Sunday service will be renamed Route 38 Blue Ridge.
Route 6 (Crabtree): The Saturday shopper special and Sunday service will be eliminated. Sunday service is available on portions of this route via Routes 37 and 38. Route 7 (South Saunders): Saturday 30-minute mid-day headways will be added. Route 12 (Method): Sunday will be added, to allow for service to Cameron Village and Method area. Route 16 (Oberlin): Evening service will be renamed Route 39 Cameron Village.
Route 70e (Brier Creek): Stops will be added on Grove Barton between Lynn Rd. and Hilburn.
Route 4- Rex Hospital
The Route 4 Rex Hospital, Westbound/Outbound, is currently operating on normal Route. The outbound stop at Hillsborough Street and Maiden Ln.- near side, is currently inaccessible. All other westbound stops are accessible and will be honored.
Inbound Route 4 Rex Hospital is impacted by construction along Hillsborough Street. The stops on Hillsborough between Gardner and Oberlin will not be served due to construction. The stops at Hillsborough and Brooks- far side and Hillsborough and Cox near side are your closest stops to the construction zone that are currently accessible.

ART Program updates
Effective July 1, 2009 ART Tier I tickets will increase in cost to $15.00 per book.
Effective August 3, 2009, Accessible Raleigh Transportation (ART) will require all ART Tier I and Tier II participants to be present when purchasing ART Tier I script or Tier II tickets. A valid ART Tier I or II ID card must be presented when purchasing tickets. This rule will apply at Moore Square Transit Mall Booth and at the collections office located at the Raleigh Municipal Building on 222 West Hargett Street.
All ART Customers will continue to be able to purchase ART Tier I script and ART Tier II tickets via the U.S. mail. The tickets must be mailed to the clients recorded address listed on their ART Tier I or II identification card.
It is our intent to make sure that ART Customers are provided the highest level of customer service by the City of Raleigh's Transit Program.
Hillsborough Street Construction
The road improvement project on Hillsborough St will cause detours and delays throughout the construction process. We will do our best to notify our riders as changes occur. Click here to find out more about this project.

12 Method
Route 12 Method is on detour due to construction on Hillsborough St. Outbound continue west on Clark Ave from Enterprize St, turn left on Brooks Ave, turn right on Hillsborough St and return to published route. Inbound turn left on Brooks Ave, right on Clark Ave, pass Enterprize St and return to published route.
22 State Street
Beginning Thursday, 1/07/2010, State Street will be closed between Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. to Bragg Street for installation of new water/sewer lines for the next thirty days or as soon as project is completed. The road will not be closed everyday, but just on those days that work is being done. The street will re-open nightly so detours will not be needed for the night and Sunday service.
OUTBOUND – From State Street, RIGHT on MLK Blvd., LEFT on Gregg St., LEFT on Bragg St., RIGHT on State St., resume route.
INBOUND – From State St., LEFT on Bragg St., RIGHT on Gregg St., RIGHT on MLK Blvd. LEFT on State St., resume route.
