Progress Plaza

Overview

Progress Plaza is the name recently applied to Progress Energy's complex of properties in downtown Raleigh, including Progress Plaza 2, now completed on Wilmington Street. The 19-story building includes 366,000 square feet of office space and 23,400 square feet of retail space. The City of Raleigh owns and operates a 1055-space parking deck being constructed as part of the project, and a 78-unit residential condominium structure will wrap the east and north sides of the block. The building was designed by Cooper-Carry of Atlanta, GA. (Read more about innovative construction practices and environmental initiatives regarding this building in the Triangle Business Journal)
