Explore Bugs And Wildlife With Nature Programs


Bug Adventure
Search for insects of all kinds at the park. We will look under logs, in the soil and among the trees for these fascinating little critters. This class is open to participants from 3-5 years of age and the fee is $3.00.  This program is held at Green Road Community Center on Thursday, April 16, from 9:30-10:15 a.m.  Pre-registration is required four days prior to program.  For more information contact Nature Programs at 919-831-6640.

Wildlife Wednesdays
Spend your Wednesday evenings discovering wildlife.  This program is great for kids who like living creatures, catching insects, arts and crafts, and games.  This class is open to participants from 6-11 years of age and the fee is $3.00.  This program is held at Chavis Community Center on Wednesdays, April 15th, 22nd, and 29th, from 6:15-7:15 p.m.  For more information contact Nature Programs at 919-831-6640.
